The World Association of Abacus and Mental Arithmetic (Hereinafter referred to as “WAAMA”) was founded in Oct. 28, 2002. WAAMA is an international association made up of non-governmental education and research organizations of abacus and abacus-based mental arithmetic. WAAMA is registered in the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China. The secretariat of WAAMA is located in Beijing, China.
