Announcement on the 8th Competition of Abacus and Mental Arithmetic of the World Association of Abacus and Mental Arithmetic

On July 15, 2024, the 8th Competition of Abacus and Mental Arithmetic of the World Association of Abacus and Mental Arithmetic (hereinafter referred to as WAAMA) was held in Changchun, Jilin, China. 413 members of 21 teams from 8 countries and regions, including Australia, Indonesia, Lebanon, Russia, the United States, China, Hong Kong SAR, China, Taiwan, China, participated in this competition, which is the largest scale since its inception. The competition consists of five groups: group of player, group A, group B, group C, and group D. Each Group has team contest. Group of player, Group A and B have individual all-round contest. Group C and D have individual event. The list of winners of special prize and first prize for team contest, and special prize for individual event is hereby announced as follows:
