Jakarta, July 7, 2023 - SEMPOA SIP is proud to announce the successful completion of its national-level abacus competition held on June 21 - 22, 2023. The event brought together 1,300 participants ranging from 5 to 15 years old, hailing from various regions across Indonesia, stretching from Aceh to Papua. Participants from all 22 provinces of Indonesia showcased their exceptional talent and skills in this highly anticipated competition.

The competition, which aimed to showcase the mental agility and mathematical prowess of young students, took place in the Grand Ballroom of Hotel Grand Mercure, located in the vibrant city of Malang, East Java. The venue provided an ideal setting for participants to demonstrate their abacus skills in a competitive yet supportive environment.

Participation in this competition was no easy feat, as the contestants were selected through a rigorous qualification process at the regional level. Only the most talented and skilled students earned the opportunity to compete at the national level, making their achievement all the more significant.

In addition to the participants, the event witnessed the presence of over 2,000 parents who accompanied their children throughout the competition. These parents recognized the importance of such a competition in fostering their children's growth and development, showcasing their commitment to their children's education and overall well-being.
