In his speech, Hsiao Chiu-Yung pointed out that August 8 every year is not only Father's Day, but also World Abacus Day. Over the years, Taiwan Chamber of Commerce, Taiwan, China and abacus groups from all over the world have gathered together to celebrate World Abacus Day. This year, in addition to holding competitions offline at the main venue of Taiwan Province, they also co-organized abacus online observation competitions and academic exchange seminars with various friend associations from all over the world, including the United States, Indonesia, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, Russia, Lebanon, India, Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, China etc. More than a dozen of overseas examination halls are connected online. Although there is time difference and distance between them, they still do not reduce everyone's enthusiasm. He thanked experts, scholars, guests, contestants and parents from all over the world for their participation in the conference, which added luster and glory to the conference. The academic exchange seminar also invited Ms Susantini Kho shared her promotion of brain teaching for preschool children in Indonesia, which helps to help children's brain development; Mr Rahul Mishra from Trendz abacus in India shared his country's active promotion of abacus and mental arithmetic, hoping to reproduce the glorious era of abacus and mental arithmetic; An Qiuling, President of the American Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Federation, shared the current development of the youth elite group of the American Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Federation; Ms Elena from Russian AMMA abacus educational institution shares that abacus is ubiquitous and deeply affects our lives; Mr Nayrouz zaiter from Lebanon Brainy Kids abacus education institution put forward suggestions on participating in abacus organizations and the future development of abacus; Through the online sharing of five experts and scholars, the on-site participants and online participants can learn from each other and benefit a lot.

On the same day, there were three competitions: abacus and online observation, mental arithmetic, and mathematics. The contestants in the main venue of Taiwan Province also enthusiastically waved hands and exchanged with contestants from all over the world. All the participants went all out.
