Indonesia has once again managed to set a World Record at the Guinness World Records through Sempoa SIP Indonesia

At the beginning of Year 2024, Indonesia has recorded another new World Record in Guinness World Records (GWR) through a massive contribution of Sempoa SIP Indonesia. After Indonesia successfully set a world record through an Angklung performance in August 2023, Indonesia has, again achieved a proud achievement at the international level by successfully setting a new world record in Guinness World Records.

The Guinness World Record certificate handover ceremony was held on Thursday, January 18  2024 at JW Marriott Hotel, Kuningan, South Jakarta. The Guinness World Record certificate was received directly by the Founder of Sempoa SIP Indonesia, Mr. Alexander K. Taslim, witnessed by all partners from Aceh, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Riau, Riau Islands, Jambi, South Sumatra, Bengkulu, Lampung, DKI Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, DI Yogyakarta, East Java, Bali, East Kalimantan, South Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, and Papua.

This achievement was made possible by the help and hard work of many people. Therefore, this new world record achievement is not only the achievement of Sempoa SIP, but also the achievement of Indonesian children. This new world record was created by Indonesia and for Indonesia, said Sempoa SIP Indonesia Founder, Alexander K. Taslim. This new world record was recorded through the National Sempoa SIP Competition or commonly known as KOMSIPNAS which was held on December 17, 2023 (Source: https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/757942-largest-online-mental-arithmetic-championship). A total of 10,929 Indonesian children, from Aceh to Papua, have successfully participated in recording a new history in the field of Indonesian education.

This competition became a touching and proud moment when seeing 10,929 Indonesian children enthusiastically and diligently participating in this world record competition. This achievement was also a gift for the 25th anniversary of Sempoa SIP Indonesia which was established in 1998.

The National Sempoa SIP Competition (KOMSIPNAS) is an annual event held by Sempoa SIP. This year, the participation of 10,929 Indonesian children is proof that quality education can be accessed by anyone. Once again, not only this World Record is Sempoa SIP's achievement, but also the achievement of the Indonesia as a nation. Sempoa SIP continues to improve its quality for the future of Indonesian children. By providing the children with various competitions, Sempoa SIP strives to create Indonesian students who dare to compete and have a winning mentality so that they become the young generation of Indonesia who are ready to compete in the future. These competitions act as opportunities for Indonesian children to create new achievements at the national and international levels.
