Notice on the Soliciting Candidates for the council members of the 6th Council of the World Association of Abacus and Mental Arithmetic

Dear the council member units of WAAMA,

According to the 7th Meeting of the Fifth Standing Council of World Association of Abacus and Mental Arithmetic (hereinafter referred to as the WAAMA), the 6th General Assembly of the WAAMA is planned to be held in Beijing, China in the second half of 2023. At that time, there will be a new election for the council members. To ensure the smooth progress of the election process, all council member units are requested to carefully fill out the Candidate Registration Form for the 6th Council Member of WAAMA (see attachment), stamp and sign the completed registration form, and send a scanned copy to the mailbox of Secretariat before June 30th. The Secretariat of the WAAMA will determine the recommended list of executive director candidates based on the actual work of each member unit, and submit it to the first meeting of the sixth council of the WAAMA for discussion. Failure to receive your registration form on time will be deemed as voluntary waiver of the right to be elected as a council member of the WAAMA. Thank you for your understanding and support.
